Age shall not weary them...

.....nor the years condemn

At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them

For your tomorrow

we gave our today....

Thoughts go out on this Remembrance weekend to all those who served their country in times of war and for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

  11. Just adding my thoughts for all those whom we have lost. I wore my poppy with pride all week and took no notice of the tide of ugly comments which have been around blogland, facebook and the media this year. Arrant nonsense! Thankyou for this.

  12. Hi Patricia
Lovely heartfelt post. We helped my Dad who's 87 and fought in WW2 to his church remembrance service on Sunday. We will remember them all and wear our poppies with pride.
